Kids Art Club - Creation & Connection
What is Kids Art Club?
Our kids art club invites children aged preschool - early teens who love to get creative with paints, crafts, paper and more!
Our studio isn't the place for the perfect Picasso, this is a space where the children are encouraged to have fun exploring hands-on projects using their imagination and creativity, meet new friends and find calm creating and building confidence whilst working on their own unique pieces each week. We aim for progress over perfection with of course a touch of mess!
In our primary/secondary aged classes, each week the children will explore a new creative experience, building skills by using different materials (craft, clay, painting, paper and collage) and tools.
NEW NEW NEW
We are excited to be introducing our Pre-School Art & Craft classes to the Art Club, Colac for those mini artists aged 4 years and under.
These classes will provide a space where the children can explore, imagine, create and get wonderfully messy!
Our classes are short, engaging and designed with Pre-School attention spans in mind.
These sessions are all about creating together, encouraging little imaginations and giving the children the freedom to experiment with colour, texture and all kinds of creative materials.
You can expect:
• 🎨 Creative exploration using a variety of colours, textures, materials and techniques
• ✂️ Hands-on craft activities suited to little hands and developing abilities
• 🧠 Early learning opportunities naturally incorporated into each activity
• 🖐️ Fine-motor skill development through activities such as cutting, gluing, painting, drawing and manipulating materials
• 🌈 Sensory experiences that encourage children to touch, explore and discover
• 💭 Imagination and self-expression, allowing children to make their own creative choices
• 😊 Lots of encouragement, smiles and fun!
There is no expectation for children to create a "perfect" finished product. The focus is on the process of creating, exploring and learning, rather than the end result.
And the best part? You get to enjoy the fun without having to clean up the mess! We’ll take care of that!

Classes at Kids Art Club
Each week brings new experiences, skills & creations
Each week, there will be a new theme, encouraging imagination and creativity with a new hands-on creation to be made.
The studio space is within a relaxed environment, allowing the students to create through a variety of art forms at their own pace with calm guidance where we strive for progress over perfection.
Kids art club is a space for those who have a creative side, a vast imagination and who love art. It is a new activity that takes us away from the screens and into a world where imagination and creativity is encouraged and self expression, confidence and beautiful unique art work grows!
Facilitator
Hi there artists, I am Mel and when I am not in my dance and fitness studio, you will find me spending time being creative in another art form. Whether that be acrylic painting, pottery, or crafting with my three beautiful children and their nan. Honestly, I am no professional in this area however I understand how important it is to enjoy those things in life where there is no pressure, no perfection, only joy and a sense of achievement when you finish a unique piece of art that has come straight from the imagination and the heart.
We invite the children of Colac and surrounds to join us for some fun, to play with different materials, colours and textures, eliminate screen time and find enjoyment in a hands-on class, where you can connect with others, explore new art experiences and create unique masterpieces. Leave the bits and pieces, the smudges and the mess to us, and look forward to and cherish the beautiful pieces of art your children cannot wait to share with you!
